Our Sisters in Christ encourage us!

Thank you so much for your continuing direction in God's Word. It is so refreshing to read all of your thoughts each week after looking at the worldly news updates. I am thankful for you and thankful we are His sisters in the Word! Amen!

Like a lot of other people I often get "lost" on the internet just reading my email. How blessed to get lost on your beautiful website! I thank God for your commitment and the love for God and other women with which each of you writes.

Dear Sisters in Christ,

I just want to thank you for faithfully writing these devotions and for all you do at A Word For Women. God is using you in ways that you may never know this side of heaven, but keep on serving Him. Many are being blessed by your faithfulness.

This devotion was very helpful to me. It is the third time this week that the Lord has gently pushed me forward into something I feel called to do, but not equipped to do. I guess it is time to stop making excuses and embrace the help God has placed before me. Thank you for the reminder.

I am praying for your ministry and for each of you and your families. May God wrap His loving arms of protection around each one of you and give you strength and a renewed vigor for the work He has given you to do. May the Holy Spirit increase your faith daily.

Love in Jesus,

Kristen

Thank you so much for your devotion & prayer. It must have been difficult to contemplate & write... I too am trying to lose weight.  Just when I see results I sabotage myself over & over! It's an addiction like no other.  Thank God for His abundant grace & mercy.

It speaks to every heart.  I like to think I have a servant's heart but it is frail and easily falls.  Looking to God as our example is always the place to look.  The servants around us may be inspiring but they are still fail and sometimes fall to selfishness just like me.  Thanks and I will be passing this one on for the bulletin.

Good morning,

Thank you for your ministry, today I had an ‘a ah’ moment from this message.

It actually hit me like a ton of bricks!! “The last thing on her mind was seeing Him alive” that sentence spoke to my spirit BIG TIME. In the midst of a situation our family is going through, while praying about it and trying to see into the future and figure some things out…..

”the last thing on my mind was actually expecting Jesus to BE in it with us”.

He tells me to trust HIM with it, I believe I do, BUT until this moment, I didn’t realize I wasn’t expecting HIM to be amongst us, in it with us, it was the ‘last thing on my mind”…..you know what I mean??

Today the situation isn’t so daunting, I am filled with a brand new HOPE and the weight isn’t so heavy. And the future looks a little brighter!! Gee whiz, just like HE foretold Mary, HE has told me, how we let our emotions and fears get in the way!! Thank you for reminding me, I really appreciate it!

Anyways, I just needed to share and thank you once again for your witness to our Awesome Lord Jesus.

God’s blessings to you, have a wonderful day,

Love in Christ,

Kim

Today is the first day of the new year. Focus on living each day in the Word! Focus on being a blessing to others each day. Focus on EACH DAY....giving that day to the Lord. Being used for His Glory! DON'T. focus on the past....it is over with...done! DON'T. focus on tomorrow....it will be here soon enough! Instead, focus on living each minute...each day for Christ! I am praying for you to have a blessed New Year....full of joy, happiness, health, and a closer and more intimate walk with our precious Savior, and His strength in any trials you may incounter. GOD BLESS YOU....DAY BY DAY!

Older Christian women need to be there in force to support the younger Christian women. It's so hard raising a family in this day and age. We need to lift each other up.
